MCP server

Ask your AI assistant about your actual portfolio

Add https://mcp.navexa.com/mcp to Claude, Cursor or any client that supports the Model Context Protocol, then sign in with your Navexa account. Your assistant can then list your holdings and trades, check your performance against a benchmark, run your capital gains, taxable income and performance reports, and price a sale before you make it.

Public API

Build on your own portfolio data

A REST API over the same data you see in Navexa: portfolios, holdings, trades, income, cash accounts and reports. Create a key in Settings, choose its scopes, and send it in the X-Api-Key header. Pull your figures into a spreadsheet, feed your own dashboard, or import trades from a source we don't support yet.

On every plan, with limits you can plan around.

The API and the MCP server cost nothing extra. Each account's hourly allowance scales with the portfolios it owns, and every key on the account shares it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Every plan, Basic through Pro. Each request follows your plan, so the API and the MCP server return the same reports your plan includes in the app.
The MCP server is for AI assistants. You add one URL to Claude, Cursor or another MCP client, sign in, and ask questions in plain English. The Public API is for code: a REST API you call with an API key to read and update your portfolio from your own scripts, spreadsheets or apps. The MCP server is built on the Public API, so both see the same data.
No. Navexa is portfolio tracking software, not a broker, and it can't place an order or move money anywhere. With write access, an assistant can record trades, income and cash transactions in your Navexa portfolio when you ask it to, the same as you can in the app.
Create keys under Settings, then API Keys, and choose the scopes each key gets: read-only access to portfolios, holdings, transactions, tax or performance, or write access to the parts you want changed. Revoke a key at any time and it stops working straight away.
Yes. Each account can send 220 requests an hour for each portfolio it owns, or 660 on Premium. Every key on the account shares that allowance. Pro accounts that need more can contact us.
No. Roi is the AI agent built into Navexa, so you can ask it questions without leaving the app. The MCP server lets an assistant you already use, such as Claude, work with your Navexa data instead.
